LOL, yeah a little. My Mesa Mark III Coliseum head is just a skosh wider than my Mesa 212 Half-back cab; and I guess that T shape does look a little odd to me.
Talk about 1st-World problems...LOL!

I kind of depends, if its like 1/2" wider its not that noticeable and I can deal with it with only mild annoyance as its only 1/8" per side. But a full size head over hanging a 2x12 by 2 inches on each side just looks bad. To me it looks haphazard and in professional I'd rather put the head on a stand or in a rack, but I'm ocd like that

I don't care, as long as I don't have to carry them. Or extra stands so it 'looks right'. I am generally amp-free live, so the less, the better. It might bother if a giant head is on a 1x12 cab, from a stability point of view. I keep thinking that there is one more thing to worry about falling over. I *do* hate a rats nest of cables, or mismatched drums or drum hardware.

Most people think im nuts but I turn my 2x12 backwards and I have a riser box my head sits on in front of the cab. Thst way can push the tubes a little hardy. Oh yeah back on task, I dont like any head on a cab in a live situation. At home I dint mind it, but live its to much that can go wrong. The bouncers at our clubs suck. We would have people on stage dancing and drinking whe we played. I finally adked on of them whats up with letting people up there. He said their just having fun. A friend had a lady puke all over his mesa head and cab.

Not the same thing, but when I brought my head and a 2x12 the other bands didn't take me seriously until I played.... When I took out my 4x12 and a 2x15 on the other hand, they loved me before I played a note... Music is vain at times.

In the 70's I gigged regularly with a Marshall Major head. When I played small clubs I used the head with a narrower Traynor bass cab. It looked ridiculous. But then again, using a Marshall Major in the small places I used to play was ridiculous to start with.
