Hey guys, Mig50 is probably gonna sell me a regular spaced Tone Zone and I need to know, will it go in my OLP Axis with a vintage style trem ok? Am I stuck just getting a F spaced humbucker?

Re: Does it need F-Spaced?

honestly either should work. the trem spaced might line up better but if you adjust the pole pieces it should be fine

Re: Does it need F-Spaced?

Regular pickups line up with the strings over the outside half of the 2 E polepieces, so it still picks up the sound adequately. Tremspaced pickups line up perfectly.

I have a feeling that the OLP has a bridge that's not as wide as some trem type guitars, so you'll have 0 problems.

You're probably using exposed bobbins, but the biggest problem I run into isn't the spacing, it's the fact that covers don't fit in most pickguard routs. So many times, I wish I could put a nickelcovered regular humbucker in a strat, but I don't want to enlarge the hole in the guard.
