From what I've read, Satch has primarily used an overdrive pedal to drive the clean channels of his amps - and still does. Does anyone know this to be true? If so then why does he use multichannel amps?
Does he run two different setups, one for Chickenfoot and another for his solo stuff? If I had his kind of money I would.
So he ditched his signature dirt pedal in favor of that old favorite, the DS-1. Interesting.

I haven't used one in years but I used to love my MIJ DS-1. I'd plug my '54 Tele with Fralin Blues Specials into it, plug the DS-1 into a tweed Deluxe and get great first Led Zep album tones!
Mine was stock but Satch and Vai used Keeley modded DS-1's into their Marshalls when I saw them live years ago.
Glad to see Satch using it again. Gives the DS-1 some credibility. (and me too!)
No Vox Satchurator? That is interesting.

If you look at Joe's current board setup...No DS1 on the board..
