Yes, but not a very similar tone. I like it, though, and use it in a few guitars.

APH-1 will be more strat-like when split. To me the tb-11 was still thick and muddy, even when its split.

Besides the SH-3, I've yet to hear any Duncan humbucker that can match an SSL-2 better than the slug coil of an SH-4.
