Does this seem like a good deal to anyone else?

Re: Does this seem like a good deal to anyone else?

My MIM was $300 out the door at GC
It was so mint it still had the plastic on the pickup and guards

Case is nice
Pickups don't add value unless you wanted those

There's a reason he's selling it
And it's not because it plays great

Re: Does this seem like a good deal to anyone else?

Thanks guys, I've decided to let it go. I barely have enough even if I get him down to 300$, but all of that I'm kinda looking to helping my bro get a set of acoustic drums, which I was not planning on when I posted this. And now I have two more guitars so I think I'll be good for now. Thanks for all this help/info and sorry for not taking it after all this help..

I think you're better off not taking this one anyway. No apologies needed.

"Does this seem like a good deal to anyone else?"

If you're having to ask that kind of question here, then the answer should be obvious.

Obviously something about it made you hesitate.

And gut reactions are quite often correct.

Re: Does this seem like a good deal to anyone else?

If you are looking to spend $300 there was a thread on here you can search for where we discussed the best guitars under $300. It was a pretty long thread with a ton of great suggestions in many styles. I couldn't find it quickly. You could also start another thread I am sure it will fill up quickly with suggestions.

Yes, and the price is rather close to what you'd pay new. Not a good deal at all for a CL listing.

Thanks. I was pretty sure that if it was a MIM it wasn't a good deal. How could you tell it was just from the pictures? Or is it just too cheap for a MIA?

Also, the pic is a bit blurry, but that looks like a larger MIM truss rod opening.

Re: Does this seem like a good deal to anyone else?

I have never paid over $250 for a used MIM. That is a nice case. All tweed cases are not the same, that case would be $125-150

Not so. Even a brand new Fender tweed case is less than that.

And the Gator is even less than that

if anyone can find them for $49 let me know I will buy 4.

I've bought 3 at $49 over the past 5 or 6 years. It's not uncommon at all to find them go on sale for that. A few years ago these used to be $60 and on sale $49.
