Anyone else have great experiences with these things? This is my first experience with one, and I am absolutely blown away at what $35 gets you nowadays.

$35 for an infraction? :scratchch

These look like Mooer pedals but 1/2 the price, I wonder if they are made in the same factory or just re-branded, but can't figure out the price difference.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Mooer pedals for half the price? Clones of clones? Clonception?

Sorry. Long-running forum in-joke.

Ah. I need to hang around here more often. I used to lurk a lot but I took a bit of a break haha.

Cant see your link from here at work, but Im somewhat comforted to see the Donner name on another product. I recently bought and installed an inexpensive Donner power supply on my pedal board. Seems to work great, its tiny and extremely light. I was just concerned how safe it would be for my pedals, primarily and curious about its durability. But that will reveal in time

Definitely keep me updated on that. I almost bought a Donner power supply, but the low price kind of put me off in a way. I didn't want to risk blowing up my beloved Boss CE-2 haha.

Factory in Guangzhou, China makes these and other "Branded" pedals for resale under different names.

Including some expensive pedals sold in US under different brand names.

These are high quality pedals that happen to be made (Like a lot of other stuff these days) in China.

Our local Aldi supermarket were selling 8 types of chinese pedals under the brand livingstone. i dried one and it was useless white noise.

I don't have quite the same opinion. I was swayed by some good YouTube videos. One thing I don't like is the crackle at the end of the delay. In the heat of battle, not too noticeable. For critical listening, not good.

The sound quality, IMO, spotty. The main selling point was the regeneration capability. I had hoped it would be a clone of my Carbon Copy, but no. For an inexpensive option, not bad if your needs aren't critical.

Yeah, I was scared because it was like $39.99 and Other power supplies were over a Benjamin.. I did some research and most info was positive, so I gave it a whirl. I dont use the pedal board much, so will be a LONG time before I can attest to the reliability, but seems to be working as it should now. My only complaint (and this seems to be common with many power supplys) is that the power chord to the unit is very short.

Re: Donner Yellow Fall Delay Demo - Mini-Pedal from China

Just a few months ago I purchased the Donner Hexadrive. It's the dual boost/overdrive pedal. Unfortunately, it arrived with a broken footswitch. The good news was, it was stuck in the "on" position. The clean boost function was decent. Very clean, transparent boost. But the distortion was cheap and raspy. Not good at all. I could have fixed the switch, but I sent it back. Overall, a disappointing pedal. Construction was solid though. It had potential for modding.

I just realized, I actually had the Nux Drive Core, which is obviously the same pedal as the Donner Hexadrive, for a lot more money. ($14 shipping!!!)
