Don't Suppose Anyone Knows If a F-Spaced DiMarizo Cover Will Fit a Trembucker?

The title is pretty much the question. I can't find Trembucker covers in anything other than Nickel & Gold? DiMarizo makes some great looking Black Smoke & black powder coated covers & the pole spacing on them is 2 & 16 but I'm not sure if the Trembucker will physically fit the cover? I know Duncan Trembuckers run pretty big but I don't have a great deal of experience with DiMarizo Humbuckers so I have no idea if their F-spaced bridge Humbuckers are any different in physical size than Duncan Trembuckers or if they are the same size as reg. DiMarizo Humbuckers with wider poles? I'd greatly appreciate any helpful feedback!!!

No they will not... You need a duncan trembucker cover to fit. The dimarzio fspace uses standard size bobbins just with the poles moved. The trembucker uses wider bobbins.

Buy the duncan and send it out to be powder coated.

They won't fit. By special order, Duncan does offer colors other than nickel and gold. They definitely offer gloss black and black nickel (the one you're looking for), as well as some others. I would just send your Duncan back in to the factory and have them convert it to black nickel for you and properly re-pot it.

Thank you, I kinda figured that wouldn't work but it was worth a shot? I actually called the Custom Shop the other day to see about one & they didn't have any @ the time. I was told I'd have to wait until some more were made. I think I'll just hold off a bit & get it sorted @ a later date, they seem to be working okay without the covers so far. I just have a ugly bridge pickup?
