Don't use blackouts with worn les paul studio

I have a worn Les Paul studio, and it is made with tone chambers in it. Basically it feels like it weighs almost nothing compared to a regular Les Paul. It is extremely resonant and vibrations ring through the entire guitar. Add in extremely sensitive high gain active Blackouts and you get a ton of feed back and unwanted noise; mainly because the guitar never stops vibrating. It seems almost as if i installed these on a semi hollow or something. Anyways, The Blackouts would go fine on a true solid body guitar. It may have this effect on other light guitars though. Just speculation due to my own experience and the fact that I have played other guitars with active pickups and have never experienced anything like this before.
