I do. I mean, If I was gonna post stuff on Ebay for a billion people, whats the sence in posting for the bretheran? I mean, is it like, "HERE, have a go at THIS, and GOOD LUCK!!"??

Sorry. I should clarify that. I mean "Bra", pronounced "Brah", like in Too fast Too Furious II.

Yeah, I'm not big on it either. Once its on ebay it really doesnt feel like its being offered to us. Seems like spam.

When you have a lot of stuff to sell, need a way to efficiently post many pictures of items, or want to have a relatively secure payment and procedural system, ebay is really helpful. For buyers and sellers.

I like it when forum members point to their ebay auctions. It's a way to quickly direct a lot of potential buyers to stuff that they will probably be interested in. And those who don't normally like buying through ebay are more likely to buy on ebay from a forum member.

I often see people offer some kind of forum member discount, which is nice.

It's spam but it doesn't bother me. Makes perfectly good sense to try and reach as many people as possible when selling something.

Prices on ebay are all over the place - recently a single Burstbucker went for $26.

I'd prefer if they mention it's an E Bay auction in the title of the thread so if I'm not interested in looking at a bra's E Bay auctions, I don't waste time reading the bra's post.

I don't mind at all...this is the internet after all. However, I generally list my stuff for sale here exclusively for a while before trying eBay. The price I list on eBay is higher than what I offer it for here, forum bro discounts are always in effect with me. And I always offer to pull the add if a forum bro wants to buy it.

I would 100x's rather do a deal here with someone I know, whether it's a pickup or a $5000 guitar. Not only do I feel I have a better chance of getting a good deal and being ensured of a good transaction and problem resolution should something happen.

Not to mention that it is helping a forum bro who might really need the money, or just helping them move an item faster.

It doesn't bother me either. But, if I want the item, it should be something we can talk about outside of the constraints of Ebay. Bro's do those things.

I don't mind at all....it implies that there is a bit of a time issue in selling something as opposed to things that sit here forever & get bumped non-stop.

But yeah, auctioning, including "send me an offer", are kind of a nuisance.

I agree with the offer thing. It usually ends poorly, because more often than not the seller is annoyned or offended with the amount of an "offer", and thinks you're trying to lowball or cheat him. If you want to sell something, list a price. If you don't know how much to ask for something, do some research. If you can't figure enough out to list a price, you probably don't have any business selling your item.
