Don'tcha Hate Incoming NGD Threads?

Re: Don'tcha Hate Incoming NGD Threads?

When you get it
I want to know if it has a slim Epi/Gibson neck
Or skinny flat back Ibby wizard neck
I love them both just curiosity

From what I've seen, it's supposed to have a fairly thin neck, but not quite like a Wizard. I'll let you know. I have a pretty wide variety of necks in my collection with which I can compare, including a Wiz on my RG.

Great guitars, used to pull it down when I worked at the store all the time when I wanted more LPish tones. I demoed and sold many amps with that thing haha Unfortunately because it didn't say Gibson on the head-stock we sold a lot less than we should.

It's here!!! :headbang:

Plays and sounds FANTASTIC!! Had to raise up the bridge pup a smidge, but now it's well-balanced and the bridge has a nice bite... the neck is warm and round. Need to do some cleanup to it... lots of fingerprints and wear marks, but nothing a little guitar cleaner/polish won't fix. Whoever had it before me didn't do much to take care of her, but it's all stuff that a little TLC will fix up quite nicely.

Gotta go... I have a new toy to play with! :outahere:

Sexy! What'cha got in there for pickups?

Thanks, this guitar came with active pickups and a battery powered eq. That all got scrapped by the previous owner. He put A Duncan JB in the bridge and a 59 in the neck. Sounds great and with the two switches you get some out of phase and coil tap sounds.

Nice pickup combo… I'll bet that thing really rocks! I didn't know that they came with active electronics at any point, but I can't really see a reason why I would want to have them.

Congrats and enjoy.

Re: Don'tcha Hate Incoming NGD Threads?

I never post videos of me playing because I'm kinda lousy at leads... can't do anything but stay in a minor pentatonic box! Still, tonight I was in the mood to make a vid. Please excuse the lousy sound from the iPhone recording!

Oh yeah, and in the video I miss-spoke and said she's a 2014, but she's actually a 2013.
