Double Cream JB

Hey guys,

I'm looking to get a double cream JB for my strat and I was wondering if it can be had without going custom shop. I know there's that stipulation involving the pickup needing to be covered but as I said I don't know if I could get one without paying $160. Also, I don't have my strat handy and can't remember if the american standard/deluxe two point tremolo is normal spaced or trem spaced. Anyone know?

thanks

The deluxe string spacing is 2 1/16 which is trembucker spacing.

Re: Double Cream JB

Thanks for the info guys. But no one, dealers or otherwise, have any idea about where i can get my mitts on a double cream trembucker spaced jb?

Re: Double Cream JB

Just order with a loosely soldered cover from any dealer and request double creme bobbins under the cover. It's called a floor-shop custom and should be the same price as a regular tremspaced JB with a cover, you just might have to wait a little bit longer for it.

$160?! Wow. That's hardcore. Where are you shopping?!

Re: Double Cream JB

I wonder if it would be pushing the legal limts to order a shop floor custom with the cover held on with a piece of scotch tape? :D

Have you PM'd any of the dealers here?

+1. Any dealer should be able to do this for you.
