Double Creme VPAF Neck Pickup Is Here!

I Love the VPAF Hot I have in the bridge of my Gibson SG and I'm sure the VPAF Neck will be just as good....I'll install it tonight and give my reviews...I'm replacing a stock 59 and I'm hoping this pickup will have less boom in the lows,be articulate,chimey in the highs,and still have a nice overall round tone...It's that "air or breathness" around the overall tone that I Love with this series though....Standby.....

I ended up getting this pickup from Steve's Music in Rock Hill NY and I Must say I'm very very happy with his service,his e mails,and I got this pickup within only a few days! Excellent!

Everyone else would have to order the double creme and I'd look at at least a 2 week wait,but Steve stocked it...Very cool for me!

I'm waiting for an extensive review! Is there any possibility of sound clips? They'd really make my day!

Btw, have you or anyone noticed that as Dimarzio explains that these "virtual" series pickups have "strat-like overtones" that they lack in conventional humbucker tones? Are any of these advancements made at some costs of different kind of tones? In other words, are the virtual pickups just a simple advancement that's good to have no matter what? What aren't they good for?
