DR DDT strings

I needed something lighter than my usuals for tuning up to drop C, my buddy that works at a shop talked me into trying the 11-54 DDT set, and I really, really like them, so much that I got a set of the 12-60 for B stuff. Here's the goofy thing, the 5th string is a damn 52, seems a little stiff for E.

Has anyone tried these in B standard with a Floyd? I'm going to, but just seems like a 48 would have been a better choice. Seriously, wtf? 38-52-60 seems pretty unbalanced. He told me they can order custom sets with 36-46-56, but 56 might be too light for B, and they don't even make a 48 in this series.

Maybe I'm *****ing for no reason, I haven't tried them yet, but that just seems odd as ****.

10-52 sets in standard tuning aren't uncommon.

EDIT: You haven't even tried them yet? A little quick on the thread don't ya think?
