I have a line on a 2 x 10 and need some input. I do blues and rock dont gig have a marshall combo tube and a TECH 21 Trademark 10 for practicing. AN AWESOME LITTLE AMP BY THE WAY. But I digress...... anyway what is a fair price , what is the sonic realm of this amp. I know 38 watts is way to loud for me but I can attenuate or use the master vol if need be. Distorion characteristics? Is it Voxy meets Marshall? Thanks :headbang: I love this headbanging dude

Fantastic amp.
I have the Jr. version and it is paint peeling loud at only 18 watts. It is the 2X10 version and I sing Dr. Z's praises on the voicing of those speakers. My Jr can be a bit bright, so I run JJ's in it and they make the sound gel a bit more kinda ooze out on the top end. I play classic and hard rock on mine. They are kind of a mix between a Vox and A Marshall. I had Bob a eurotubes give me slightly hotter EL84's for earlier breakup. I hit the front end with my SD pup booster, Dual OD, or my bass players multi-effects unit.
The Sr. version I played was a 1X12 version.
