Re: DR Z Prescription Jr Review
**Update**
I've had quite a bit more time with the amp now and am still finding new sounds. This is an amazing little amp, all the chime and attitude of a vox but with a twist. One thing that I've found in the process with my speaker choices. I started out with the G12H30 and it was too bassy, swapped for a 16 ohm Greenback(into the 8ohm output) from my 2x12 and there was a big improvement(it was originally voiced for the GB). But I was a little dissapointed in the lowend, kind of flabby if pushed and somewhat thin sounding at times with pedals. I just put in an 8ohm Greenback and holy cow....what a difference the proper ohm load makes on this amp. It got throatier, smoother gain, and sounded MUCHO better with my pedals. There is nothing thin sounding about this amp now. I can't wait to get my hands on a Zbest cab in the future to really be able to open it up. I also can't say enough about how good the master volume works not to mention how quiet this amp is even dimed. I really wish that I still had my LP now to play through the amp, it sounds amazing with humbuckers......it sounds amazing with anything that you throw at it.
