Drilling for a bridge

Hi guys,
My Warmoth body should be arriving tomorrow, and I ordered it undrilled (the hardtail I'm installing doesn't match their standard templates).

Any hints for aligning the holes?

yup. tape the bridge down in the right place and use it as a template. it probably safer to take a awl or something and stabb the body in the right place so you have a starting point and remove the bridge before ya drill. usually i just use the bridge but you have to be much more careful.

Cool. I also found a page on the web (it was harder to google than I thought) that suggests attaching the neck and running a straight edge down either side to trace two lines on the body. The center of that will be the center of the bridge (in my case, I'd tape some paper over the top, as the body is already painted).

I forgot that Warmoth did drill for the string holes, so I can just use those as a guide (doh!).

Whoops. Just noticed that I posted this in the Pickup Lounge rather than the Guitar Shop. Sorry.
