Drum Machines?

Guitarist

Mesa-ologist
Likes/dislikes/preferances? Let me at it...I want to write some music based around a lead guitar ala Satch or Vai. Thinkin about purchasing one of these...what do you think?

Re: Drum Machines?

They're helpful. I have an Alesis SR-16 which I've owned for the last 15 years. They don't need breaks, they don't get tired, or thirsty or hungry, etc. I've used mine a lot. They're a good substitute for the real thing. That said, there IS no replacement for a real live drummer.

SR-16's are great!

I have a Zoom 234 that works great for me, plus I can program in basslines too!
