I've gridded out drum tracks before. To do it well is very tedious, but it's easy enough to get a rought track in place for playing over. And a lot of the time, it's necessary because none of the loops at hand have the right feel.

Groove Agent will do many styles, and being a VST instrument, integrates fine with Cubase..or SOnar, or anything that uses VSTi's.

Acutally, Sonar uses DXi, not VST, which is what Cubase uses.
Same crap, different name.
