DSL 201 Heating Issues and Info.

hi guys after thining about getting a DSL 401 it seems that hetaing issue isn't worth the money so how would a DSL 201 fair? First off how does it sound and is it loud enough to gig/jam. Also does it suffer the same infamous hetaing problems as its bigger brother the DSL 401?

I am also considering a blues junior as its got a niice low wattage tube thing going on as the DSL 201 does, but lacks a second channel which is what im looking for also, as it is very ncie having a clean and overdrive channel.

Also Since these lower watt babaies are cheaper i may be able to score one sooner than planned and finally be playing out a tube amp!!!!!!

the heating problem isnt too bad - most tube amps run hot, but breakdowns are pretty rare (i'd count mine as an isolated case IMO)

i never tried the dsl201 or the 401 combo but judging from the harmony central reviews the heating issues and breakdowns seem to be the norm rather than the exception with those amps

i own one - the heating issue is like measles. once you've had it once and had a tech fix it (resolder it really well) it should never happen again..

thats my experience anyway...
