DSL settings anyone?

For some reason I just cannot find the right tone that I want from my DSL50. I want a nice rock (not metal) disortion with warm cleans. Something like a JCM800-ish type tone.

Kind of like something from this clip: "American Hearts"- Piebald

Can anyone help?

I'm gonna send you a few clips in your E-mail I have a Dsl50 and I was able to get some really great sounds, both clean and dirty out of it. I had to have a few things done to it and add a BBe tough.

If you like the sound of the clips, I tell you exactly what I had done to it. They are completly live clips. I don't know how to post them here or I would.

keep gain low, and OD channel volume high. this will get you a nice tone most of the time for most stuff...

Crushing tone: Start everything at 5, keep mids prominent, tweak from there. Mids are super important, as is not overindulging the gain!
