I traded the Matchless Clubman for a DST U84(Jeff Swanson ) 2 x 12 combo.
Channel 1 = Hiwatt
Channel 2 = Marshall Superlead
2005, mint, bounce between channels or use both at once,
seperate EQ's and volumes for each channel, master, blend
control for adding more of either channel, ptp handwired,
bias points on chassis, 2 button footswitch. Same amp as the U 34
but this one is loaded with 2 EL84s for 20 LOUD ASS watts,
bottom end for days with no mud.
Played it today thru a Marshall 4x10...sounded good. Marshall 2x12...sounded better. Thru my Bluesbreaker combo with Celestion Alnico Blues.... :32: :32: :32: :32: :32:
The Blues sound better in the DST, so they now reside in the Swanson 2x12 cab.
I'm gonna mount the JTM(GT KT66/RFT ECC83) in a head cab & run it thru the 4x10(1965A)...and the '77 JMP MkII(GT 6550/Sovtek 12AX7LPS) is running thru the Marshall 2x12(1966A).
Oh, and the DST is loaded with MULLARDS!!!!! :32: :32: :32:
