Dual Concentric pot wiring and a pot as a 3way switch

Okay, so two birds one post...

I have an OLP MM1 (wolfgang knockoff) and it has a 3 way switch between 2 humbuckers and it has a single volume knob, probably a 500k.

Q 1: I would like a tone knob and would like to avoid drilling a hole in my guitar. I have considered a dual concentric mini 500k pot. Is this a good option? I have had trouble finding many options for wiring this kind of pot or even just normal wiring diagrams. It would be nice to get a good diagram for this...

Q 2: Can a pot be used as a variable 3 way switch? I.e., if you have the neck pickup on lug 1 and the bridge pickup to lug 3 then lug two is output? And at 5 it is a mix of neck and bridge pickups? Also, what kind of pot can be used for this purpose?

Thanks

Welcome to the forum! Yes, concentric pots are a good option. You wire them the same as an individual volume and tone. That blender idea could work, try it out!

I have a epiphone dot studio. I would like to rewire it with two concentric ( stacked) pots and three way toggle. I do not want to drill holes in guitar. It has one volume one tone. Anyone have a wiring diagram for this?

I have done this - let me rephrase - paid to have this done.

It was a tight fit, but it worked. Love the concentrics on that guitar!
