Duckbucker in HSH?

For people using the Duckbucker in the middle of an HSH guitar, What works best in your experience, split the humbuckers or non split? What humbuckers have you tried?

i dont love the duck in the middle of hsh. its too low output. i do like it in the middle with other low output single coil sized buckers. a buddy had cool rails neck and bridge with a duck, and it was really nice.

if i was going to use a duck in the middle, then i might go jazz neck, wlh bridge, and split the buckers in the notch positions. it wont be humcancelling, but i bet itll sound really good

I have the Full Shred set, both bridge and neck, in a Strat. That neck pickup does have single coil vibe, specially with overdrive and high gain, cleans are great. However the middle position is very similar to neck so I may add a middle pickup to get more sounds from this set.

I've used a stack single in the middle, and split it when used with a split humbucker (to cancel hum).
