Ditto that for a 59n at the bridge paired with 2 Fender CS 54's neck and middle.

Re: Dumb Question neck in Strat bridge?

The only time I ever spoke to Seymour I asked him what humbucker to use as a bridge pickup with two stock Fender single coils on a Strat. He said to use a neck model Jazz as a bridge pickup.

I also switched a JB JR bridge model to a neck model on my Strat and prefered the neck model JB JB: brighter and a better blend when combined with the middle pickup.

So the answer to your question is: YES!

Try it. If you like it that's all that matters.

Yes, I have a neck virtual PAF in the bridge of a Strat and the slightly lower output and slightly brighter tone sounds very good in that position.
