Anyone been wanting a Dumble style pedal but short on money?
I've got a "clone" I'll send to someone, free (including free shipping).
A couple of qualifiers. And I'm counting on the honor system here ...
I would really rather send this to someone who works hard and does the best they can but is still on a tight budget.
And, someone who doesn't already have a D style pedal but has wanted one.
Besides that, the only other qualification is you have to live in the USA.
About the pedal. If it's not a "clone" it's very closely based on the Z**Drive. It's got a NE5532 opamp (I think it's better/smoother with an AD712, but it's socketed so it can be swapped). It's in a bare 1590B enclosure. No battery clip, runs off an external supply only. The PCB has a lifted trace (from dropping resistor to LED indicator) replacing the LED, repaired with a piece of wire, doesn't affect operation at all. It does a pretty good job of copping the tone of the pedal it's based on. Best of all, it's free to a needy player.
Again, USA only and please don't accept the offer if you have spending money or if you already have a D style pedal (or want something just because it's free). I'm really trying to help someone out who's really wanted to check out a D pedal but cant afford it.
First PM ... it's yours.
