Dummy coil wiring question

I have a H-S set up on one of my guitars, but I want to add a dummy coil to the neck pickup. How do I wire it so the dummy coil only comes on when the neck pickup is on?

Are you wiring the dummy coil in series or parallel?

Do you have a middle pickup? If not, just wire it up with the neck pickup so its hot is connected to the pickup's hot (assuming it's in parallel. If it's in series connect it to the pickup's ground.
