Duncan Antiquity II Twang for Telecaster Bridge Tele

I just got a new, well new for me, Russell tele, it kind of feels like a 60's reissue from fender. I love it. It has a emg, I'm not sure what kind, pick up in the bridge and I don't know what it has in the neck, I should take it off to find out.
I was thinking about putting a Duncan Antiquity II Twang for Telecaster into it. Does anyone have any thoughts on this?

Howdy redapemusic,

Wecome to the forum. Describe what kind of tone you're looking for...

Re: Duncan Antiquity II Twang for Telecaster Bridge Tele

Well I would like a fairly bright 60's tone. Something that would give me big bright chord voicings. With a bit of break up. I am playing through a peavy classic 50 4x10.

I used to have a Peavey Classic 50 410. I played my Tele through it and it sounded very nice. I believe the Antiquity II would fit the bill fine...

if you want a great sounding bright toned bridge pup then a antiquity II is a great option
