Duncan Custom Shop ROCKS!!!

Just in case you had any doubts ;)

Got my SD CS Rail pickup in Friday for my Mosrite of Classics Mk II

A5, medium output, Mosrite-esque voice - and wound by MJ - perfect!!! I could not be happier with it, it plays so well with my Orange Dual Terror it is like I planned it this way. Many thanks! :beerchug:

Glad to hear it, man. I am a satisfied custom shop pickup owner myself. They do awesome work

Re: Duncan Custom Shop ROCKS!!!

That MJ, I really think she is getting the hang of winding pickups.

Re: Duncan Custom Shop ROCKS!!!

Awesome. That looks pretty sweet. Got any pix of the whole guitar?

It's unfortunate that my projects with them have always fallen through. A few years ago, I had a really detailed and good e-mail conversation with them about a set of re-winds (JB/'59 rewound into slightly non-standard Seths). But when it came time to actually send them in, the guy dropped off the face of the Earth. Never sent me the forms I needed, and never replied to my followups seeking them.

And just recently, the work I needed from them (replacement hardware on a Phat Staple) was quoted too high for me to stomach (would have cost $300 in the end). So I decided to send the original hardware parts to a metal plater myself for $70 total.
