Duncan Custom vs Distortion

Does the Custom have the same kind of harmonics and dynamics as the Distortion? I really love the sh-6 but I would prefer abit more lowend.

The custom does produce great harmonics and dynamics, even better than the Distortion IMO, but that could be because my Distortion is in a cheaper, less responsive piece of wood. The low end of the SH-5 is absolutely perfect in my custom strat, enhanced by the fact its in a hardtail string thru guitar, unless u have an original Floyd Rose, other locking trems really suck the low end out of any guitar.
