Duncan Designed HB-104

what?

New member
isn't that the one based on the Tony Iommi blade prototype?
just wondering about it, soundwise, how it cleans up, the EQ of it, the basic stuff. anyone here got any experience with it?

Re: Duncan Designed HB-104

Tonally, it's similar to an HB-103, or a Duncan Distortion. But Schecter used it on a 5-string guitar to avoid string spacing problems.

It's not nearly as hot as the old TI pickup.

no, the duncan designed (and preformer) stuff is probably the best pickups that you can find for less than a regular duncan.

This is true for the Buckshot, HB-101, HB-102, HB-103 so on and so forth, but the Detonater Performer is such a waste of money!!! I put it into my Epi SG Special, and it sounded worse than the stock pickup!!! But, I have heard other Duncan Designed and I can back up Indie P Bass... :beerchug:
