I'm having trouble finding anywhere (online or retail) that sell the Duncan Designed HB-7 seven string guitar pickup...

My understanding is that no Duncan Designed pickups can be bought directly and they are only available already installed on guitars.
There are some 'real' Seymour Duncan 7 string pickups which you might want to check out. Should be an improvement over Duncan Designed.
If you really want DD then you might want to check eBay.

I know I have seen Duncan Designed Invader, Distortion pup's for sale at Guitar Center and on Musicians Friend... cheap too.
I cant believe they'd sell those but not the HB-7 :disappoin

i assume you are talking about the HB103, btw it is supposed to be like the DD but not close. I have 3 (2 bridge 1 neck) 2 were on a guitar and the other i got for free, but anyway the contruction is different than the DD so yeah. Also they are made in Korea, and are a bit more lifeless than real duncans. They are based off of real duncans, but not simulations. Kinda like the Texas Chainsaw Massacare was based off a true story, except the thing didnt take place in texas, he never went around chasing people to kill with a chainsaw, he was just a freak who wore peoples skin and stuff. thats the way the Duncan Designs are, based off of, but not accuratly depicted.
Also i understand that the fact duncan designs are cheap is a plus, but get a 7 string real duncan and you will be far more satisfied.
