Hope someone here can help me...
I bought the Duncan Distortion set (SH-6B/N) and put it in my S470. It's a H/S/H configuration, and I left the stock Ibanez single coil in the middle.
How do I wire it up so that my 5 way switch options are like this:
Pos 1: Bridge HB
Pos 2: Bridge split
Pos 3: Middle single coil
Pos 4: Neck Split
Pos 5: Neck HB
I see this link on the duncan site:
http://www.seymourduncan.com/support/schematics/hum_sing_hum_vol_tone_spl.html
My 5 way switch is a little different, with 8 posts all in one row, not 2 rows of 4. But I figured that 1-8 was the same. So I installed it like that, and Pos 1 is the Bridge HB, 3 is single coil, and 5 is Neck HB. 2 and 4 are, I assume, out of phase? They are real thing and nasaly sounding.
Is there a way to do this? Anyone know? Or did I inadvertantly wire it up wrong, even though it looks correct to me?
Thanks!
