DUNCAN FORUM - help a pedal newbie out!!!

Re: DUNCAN FORUM - help a pedal newbie out!!!

This whole idea of figuring out what you need instead of just buying shiny stuff is unacceptable in a guitar forum!

That's why I just bought some pedals!!! haha!! That's the fun of it.

I have a few Behringer pedals coming - which are essentially BOSS clones - and I bought a Seymour Duncan Tweaker Fuzz from a Duncan forum member.

did the Tweak Fuzz get the Volume mod?

when I got mine
I had to Remove one resistor and Jump another
it has a dramatic cut in volume when engaged no matter what the Level knob is

Search the forum for the Mod
I can't remember exactly what it is

Yeah you’re supposed to buy everything, try it out, then decide what you need and sell the rest on the trading post. Let’s stick to the rulez here.

Don't know - but will check it out. Should get it tomorrow.

There is a certain knowledge/wisdom/experience that only comes from hands-on.

definitely does not have the mod as it TOTALLY cuts the volume when engaged. Wow!! I'll need to look for that mod.

On to another note - someone is selling a Duncan Power Grid Distortion here... any good? I like the quality feel of the Duncan pedals, but I think this was one of their first pedals.

I can’t speak specifically to the Power Grid but I have 3 Duncan pedals and the are all killer.
