Duncan/Ibanez Humbuckers !?

Hi,

I would like to know if anyone can tell me about Duncan/Ibanez Humbuckers, I was looking to Ibanez SZ320 but dont know anything about those pick ups. Can u compare it with any other seymour pick up?! I need info!! :bowdown:

since we're at this topic.
My friend saw the Ibanez SZ320 stock pups.
after taking them out he saw a SH-1 sticker at the bottom of the pickup.

hmm..plus the dc resistence, its really really close to a 59.
so...is it really a 59? and yes they are the STOCK pickups of the SZ320 which he took out of the guitar...

can anyone clarify this?

these Duncan Ibanez units are indeed modelled after the '59 (neck) & Distortion (bridge). the units in the non-Prestige models are korean, the SH-1 sticker there is mysterious...

Duncan Ibanez pickups are Korean, the sticker shouldn't be there. if it's on the Seymour Duncan IBZ pickup, then it's understood because the latter is American.

Thats what i think as well. Anyway my friend's gonna have them installed soon i believe.
After that we'll compare the tones of a real '59 and that so called stock Duncan/Ibanez '59.

Will let u guys know of the results once tested.
