Duncan King Tone Generator pre-amp KTG-1?

there's a Duncan King Tone Generator pre-amp KTG-1 for sale locally at a seemingly reasonable price; i've had a look at the manual online and am just looking to get an idea on how these sound and/or anything else i can learn about them?

i'd be using it for recording/practice, probably going into the power section on a (5881) JCM900 or into a 1x12" roland cube..?

no. that was years ago!
from memory, i was interested, but didn't want to pay what the guy wanted, and didn't really need it, etc.
while i applaud your use of the search function and your tenacity, carpet-bombing the forums and filling up people's inboxes with requests for gear trades doesn't make a good first impression
