Duncan tweak fuzz setting like afro fuzz on Eminence/Saraceno site?

I love the sound on the Eminence speaker site of Blues Saraceno using the afro fuzz with governors. It is also on the Blues Saraceno site under afro fuzz. What setting is he using on the tweak fuzz pedal? I know its the afro fuzz but they are supposed to be the same. I want that sound and will be buying a Duncan tweak fuzz if it gets that tone. Anyone have those settings? Assuming they can be had with the tweak fuzz.

I can assure you that any sound you can get with the Afro Fuzz, you can get close to with the Tweak Fuzz. I have done some clips with the Tweak Fuzz that come very close to what blues did with the Afro Fuzz. PM me if you're interested in hearing some.

The tweak fuzz is a clone of the afro fuzz...when they were tested side by side Evan, Blues, Alex, and Seymour were there for the blind taste test...Even Blues couldn't tell the difference! There are so close it hurts...I will admit, I can't tell the difference.

Can you use it in the fx loop of a Dual rectifier? Is it only good in front of the amp?

I wouldn't run a fuzz in the loop...just my opinion

Would it do harm to the amp? My setup is kinda weird and I like to plug directly into the amp if possible.

I don't think it'll sound very good in the loop. At least try it in front of the amp and see if you like it.

I like it in front of the amp. I have it run in my gcx loop I wil just unplug my amp and plug in to the fron of the gcx and then plug into the amp. Only takes 10 secods and when not in use it wont suck tone. I like 1 20ft cord instead of 2 long cords. I really like the #2 setting with the volume and gain at 9. It reminds me of Queens of the ston age. I still cant find the setting like Blues Saraceno though. Oh well. It wasworth the money for the raunchy 70s tone you get from the tweak fuzz.

A 9v stomp box doesn't have the power to sit in your EFX loop. For that, you need higher-power AC gear like rack-mount pre-amps.

You are right on sir. If I leave the cords plugged in but the light is off on the tweak fuz will it drain the battery? Do you know what settings or other gear Blues Saraceno used on the soundclip called afro fuzz? It is on the Eminence site for the Governor speaker and on his site under afro fuzz. Thanks
