but i am also rather curious what the specs are.. it looks like they got golden covers, so they could be ants.. so, HHB what pups are those?

Here's the deal on these pickups. Hamer makes a guitar called "The Ultimate." If you haven't seen it, it's a pretty amazing axe for someone who has lots and lots of money.

The pickups for the Ultimates are wound by Seymour and MJ in the custom shop. They're custom designed for this guitar. The serial number of the pickup matches the serial number of the guitar. There's a special hang tag, etc. And they're only available as original equipment in the guitar. So, HHB, if you acquired a set, it must mean that one of the Hamer Ultimate guitar owners took them out.

Hamer sells a "slightly less ultimate" version of the Ultimate called the SLU. Same custom shop production. Same winding spec. Same magnet. Same voice. But without the serial number and hang tag. Contact Hamer or your local Hamer dealer for more details.

The SLU-Strat.. I can just see the strat wandering through the prehistoric canopy making hissing noises and moving really slowly as it plays the theme to "land of the lost"...
