Duncan Vintage Staggered single coils, who uses em?

Re: Duncan Vintage Staggered single coils, who uses em?

From what I've read here the SSL-1 are just about everyone's favorite SC Pup in the non Antiquity catalog. That and the APS-1 are very popular and most people seem to be very pleased with them.
I've played with both of them I personally prefer the warmer APS-1 but the SSL-1 sound great too, nice chimey and spankey.
I've never tried the Duncan Ant II Surfers but I hear they OWN the SC world.
Good luck,
Loudriver

Great bubbly strat tones. If you want SRV, Hendrix, Knopfler, Clapton, and Gallagher tones and you have the right rig, they'll be all over it.

i think they sound great. for the money they are probably the best sounding vintage style single coil around, bright and chimey.

not my favorite in the bridge but in both the neck and mid they sound great and combine very nicely
