Duncan wire type/guage

Perhaps it's a proprietary business issue and nobody will care to speak up, ut can anyone tell me what type of wire is use in the Jazz neck and also in the Alnico 2 pro? 42 or 43 guage? PE or poly? Looking to screw around a little with some bastard children made of parts but would like to know what wire I would be dealing with in these two particular pickups.

Re: Duncan wire type/guage

"The bobbins are polycarbonate, which is a very durable plastic. We wind the APH bobbins with 42-gauge plain enamel magnet wire, just like the original P.A.F. pickups. The bottom plate is nickel silver and the hookup wire is four-conductor. Each pickup is hooked up and soldered by hand and is then wax potted in a vacuum chamber for elimination of microphonic feedback." -Seymour Duncan.
