Duncan's equivalent to DiMarzio's Air Norton?

Hi everyone. I'm new to this forum. Thought I'd start off with a question right away.

I plan to replace a neck humbucker. Up till now I've always been a DiMarzio guy, but I thought I'd just check out other manufacturers before getting DiMarzio again.

I always liked the DiMarzio's Air Norton: its warmth and smooth sound, but I was wondering: does Seymour Duncan have a similar sounding humbucker for the neck position? What would be my options if I wanted to go with Duncan and have similar smoothness and warmth in my high gain solo's, as well as versatility?

theres really not a SD "equivalent" to dimarzio pickups, but if you give us more info on what styles you play, what guitar you are going to use it in, what amps, etc. it will be easier to help find what you need.

Ok, perhaps equivalent isn't the right word. Comparable in characteristics? If I wanted exactly the Air Norton's sound, it should go for that one of course.

The guitar is a Washburn N2. I currently only have a Pod 2.0 to run it through (which is huge step for someone who used to play Mesa Boogie, but some choices in life have to be made).

I play different styles, from (progressive, symphonic) rock and metal to popular, jazz and blues. Main influences (both in sound and playing): Nuno Bettencourt, John Petrucci, Tony Macalpine, Michael Romeo.

Any hope for me at Seymour Duncan? lol

Currently a Seymour Duncan, but I don't know which model (it only says JBJ on a small label on the back). I'm planning to replace it with a Bill Lawrence L500 lead (the original bridge pickup for the N2, I believe) , but I'll have to find one first.

the seymour duncan is a JB, and i would guess someone named john or jake or jill or something else asembled it. and you dont have to search for one of the l-500's. www.billlawrence.com has them. dont get them from anywhere else, this is the place to get the good ones. and you might as well get 2, 1 for both positions.

This progger is looking for a neck pickup similar to an Air Norton in his alder Washburn N2.

Two L500s? In the neck position too? Will that give the desired sound?
Maybe the L500 lead in bridge and L500 regular or clean in the neck?

Anyway, I'm not from the US, so I'm afraid ordering from Bill Lawrence will be a bit tricky (paying, shipping, taxes etc.).
