Duoverb anyone?

Anybody else own one? They're a steal in the used market and a very solid, versatile amp. Tips?Tricks?

Re: Duoverb anyone?

I have been looking off and on for a while now - seems like a great amp, especially the 2 amps-at-once feature. My only worry was support down the road by Line 6. Guess if it was a really good deal I would jump and just enjoy it until the wheels fall off...:fingersx:

Re: Duoverb anyone?

I got the head about a year and a half back for $300, no issues. It takes a while to get in sync with the amp but with combos in the $400 range and heads around $300 they're tough to pass up.

The 2 amps feature is pretty cool, running into a stereo cab with it is great and the XLR outs is a huge plus IMO. No miking necessary for recording or gigs if you don't want to. Still don't have the FBV board but I'll have to get one soon now that I am more into this amp, opens up a ton of presets and a few other options.

Scott! I thought you sold that amp?! I remember asking what you thought of it a while after you got it and it didn't seem like you were digging it...did you finally get it dialed in? Digging it?

Re: Duoverb anyone?

I HATE I sold mine... I wanted a trued tube amp SOOOO bad, that I sold mine for exactly what I paid for it. I'm glad I got my money back, but that was a loud sturdy amp with MANY different models on it that where adjustable... The xlr outs were an AWESOME feature as well... the amp was so dedicated to modelling tube amps that when you turned the volume up, the dymanic response increased respectively. You could actually hear the amp break up the louder you turned it... not bad for a SS digital modelling amp.... actually they refer to this one as an emulator..... If I find one again, I'll jump on it as well!
