haha yeah but it would be a great place to work as a painter. You could come in drunk everyday and still do a good job.

i briefly played a friend's sl59 (the doublecut). first, i couldn't believe how heavy it was. second, i didn't like the neck at all. not the profile, but just the overall feel. i thought it felt really cheap, almost like a thicker daisy rock neck. wasn't into it. never got a chance to plug it in. i was curious about how it sounded but the weight and the neck killed it for me.

Sorry, can't say I played one of those guitars yet (its on my list lol) but the Slick "Lead" pickups are great. Love them in my Epi LP standard. Think I did a review of them on here...

Shipping I think is roughly 25-30, I checked that out too one day. Turned the 180$ guitar into about 220 total after tax and shipping and such

I almost bought the doublecut P90 jobber but then i figured two weeks of aggressive craigslisting would turn up something better for the money.

As usual, I was right, and I bought an Epiphone LP Studio and a Blacktop Tele for less than a new Slick. New guitars are for people who hate money.
