Early 90's Yamaha HSH Pacifica... good guitar?

Re: Early 90's Yamaha HSH Pacifica... good guitar?

played a Pacifica
in a small music store in Pensacola,FL
back in the late 80's
the fact that I still remember it,
should speak volumes

I remember those- for a while they were using warmoth necks- and proudly advertising it

Re: Early 90's Yamaha HSH Pacifica... good guitar?

The ones with the Warmoth compound radius fingerboard usually came with a Wilkinson VS100 vibrato bridge and Sperzel loicking machineheads.

Build quality is excellent from the most expensive models to the least. Witness my collection of Attitude bass guitars, mostly the bottom-of-the-range model with uprated bridges and American pickups.

Dang it! <goes searching on ebay for Pacifica shredsticks again>

I remember wanting one so bad after seeing an ad with some hair metal guy in a room full of (probably) every single one they had. Sorry if it turns out it was someone super famous, but I was too busy looking at the guitars to worry about the human in the ad back then.
