Easiest way to get my Tele in series?

Re: Easiest way to get my Tele in series?

Thanks for confirming, doc.

Now I hope that the whole stuff will help robo.

Hey, any way to do the same with HH w/ splits and a Gibson-style 3way, without going full Jimmy Page?

Ideally with just 2 pots, or maybe 3, and preferably with hum cancellation in middle position with both buckers split?

Series only, no parallel at all OK

Possibly with a Freeway switch that has enough lugs to work with. You’ve got to move two red+white wires to either ground or hot, and connect one pickup ground to the other pickup hot for series, all at the same time.

What Beaubrummels said. A Tele switch has 4 lugs on each side and there's only two coils to deal with. On a Les Paul switch, there's twice less lugs and any splitting requires to deal with twice more coils...

More later if an idea does me the honor to visit my mind - and if time permits, as usual :-))

See the topic that I've just posted.

Gave me a few minutes of fun. Was its own rewards. :-)

Please, note that I've done that stuff during a short lapse of free time. My busy life is waiting me so I'm not sure to be so "disponible" in the future... Thx for your understanding.
