Look at this squier.

I think this guy knows what kind of guitar it is, but playing dumb.

The bridge is squier, the infinished neck looks like my dismantled squier in my closet. He put a new decal, neckplate, new tuners and pickups in it.

I'd hate to pay the shipping charges for that, but it might be worth it.

your 100% correct, it's a squier for sure. the large headstock with two vintage style string trees with a plastic surround around the top adjusting truss rod gave it away real fast (it's a combo i've only seen on squiers) along with the bridge. most US fenders have a darker brown wood around the truss rod adjustment and the MIM and squiers have the plastic...plus if it was a '70s neck or reissue '70s neck it should have a bullet truss rod or a heal adjust truss rod with most likley only 21 grets not 22 and the tuners are wrong also....i can keep going lol. there are odd ball combos out there but this is for sure a squier...plus that's a typical squier color!

i felt bad since the price is way above what that guitar is worth so i e-mailed the high bidder to let them know about it.

YUP !! This guy is slick. I bet the chick in the pics is coyote ugly. :laugh2: After close to 20 years working in the Printing/Graphics field I can spot
a bogus decal a mile away. It's imposiable to print the gold stroke around
the fender logo without gold metallic ink. That's why it looks beige if you
look close. And as mentioned NO BULLET ROD! This guy knows what he's
got.

He definetly hired a female guitar stand to draw people's attention away from the fact that they will be ripped off if they buy this guitar.

I like how in this pic the arrow road sign is pointing right at her chesticles. Yes I noticed that fairly quickly.

I've had a lot of guitars, but never a Squier, so I wouldn't know that was one if I had it either. And he sure seems to be straight forward in all the questions, and making them public for everyone to see. I think he's being straight up, he's honest about admitting to not knowing what it is in the first place.

I like the American neck plate minus the hole for the angle adjustment. Nice touch.
