Ebay order of STK-S4. pickup not right?

I ordered a STK-S4 bridge pickup on ebay & when it got here it came without the Seymour duncan box, sc rews, tubing, or instructions. It also does not have the red wire that the others have. It has the place where it would be soldered to but the red wire is not there. I know that is for splitting purposes & I don't use the red wire but I'm preturbed about it. I guess it is a STK-S4. Looks like one but I don't understand why the wiring is different. Is this pickup made some other place or what? Both pickups in the picture are bridge pickups. The black one is the one I just purchased on Ebay. See the difference!

Could you carefully peel back the cable to the red wire & strip a little off and then resolder?

Well it does not have the red wire at all. I could add the wire without any problem. These are pickups that come from SD but apparently you can buy them in bulk with out the boxes, red wire, screws, instructions, & such. I don't need the red wire because it is for coil splitting which I don't use. It was just the idea of the seller not disclosing this I quess. It was $17 cheaper this way & it is new. I havn't had the time to put it in yet. It's probably ok & I will keep it as long as it works.
