No, the dude you bought the guitar from not shipping and dropping from the face of the earth is what really blows. Being outbid is not a big deal, sometimes you win and sometimes you don't.

That really does stink, as much as I hate ebay, my philosophy on ebay and money is......never put out more then you are possibly willing to loose. Make sure you research the seller the best you can (pos / neg) and rating number over atleast 100, or more.

I hear you, it wasn't enough money to break the bank. I guess it's more the principal of the thing.

Isn' there a way to get your money back, by opening a dispute case w/ eBay/Paypal or something like that?

Report that to Ebay Stat !!
If you payed via Paypal, Ebay will work with you to try and contact the seller..they give the a-hole a week to respond and resolve the issue and if they can't Ebay will refund your entire purchase plus shipping back into your Paypal Account.

Thats where its at now, just have to wait and see if they do anything.
