Ebony fretboard cracks????

Re: Ebony fretboard cracks????

I like Fret Doctor. http://www.beafifer.com/boredoctor.htm Why? Because it is actually different in action from "lemon oil" products I've used before. Fret Doctor actually sinks into (especially) rosewood, and ebony...leaving far less oil on the surface, than other common "lemon oil" fretboard conditioners. All of the regular fretboard conditioners just sit on the surface of the fretboard and most of them need a rubbing without the strings on, to get that shiny nastiness off the fretboard. Rosewood slurps up Fret Doctor, and needs only the light rubdown with a piece of cotton flannel to finish the process.

I'm confused with the Doctor's Products linky, as I do not know if it is re-badging of Fret Doctor, or a competitor.

GuitarSTv, I also live in Toronto. Where are you getting the Dunlop oil?

I just picked it up and Long and McQuade's . . . maybe 4-5 years ago when I was living in Burlington. Just ask them about it, I'm sure they've got some kicking around. A bottle of this stuff lasts a really long time:
