I'am Trying to find out if Duncan vintage lead stack will work in my american deluxe telecaster it is equipped with the s-1 switching. any help would be greatly appericiated

A Vintage Stack should work fine with the S-1 switch. The current pickups in the American Deluxe Teles ae the N3 noiseless pickups. They are 3-conductor. You have a yellow wire that goes to the blade switch, a blue wire that goes to the S-1 switch, and a black wire that goes to ground. The Vintage Stack will easily accommodate that wiring. You just need to know which wire to connect where. Also, Duncan Telecaster pickups are wound out-of-phase with Fender's.
