Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

Hah, please forgive the "Gangnam Style" reference - couldn't resist.

As some of you may know I've become somewhat obsessed with Wolfies ever since I got an older Peavey one a few months ago... So it was with great interest that I spied this. A typical Eddie bastardization job of a '58 LP and Wolfie sensibilities. What do you guys think?

I played that guitar. Yes that particular one. Amazing amazing amazing

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

looks cool!

The tailpiece there is your basic Schaller fine-tuner tailpiece.

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

Don't get mad at me,but I don't care for it..The looks of it..As a lefty can't play one anyway but:

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

I like. Even an ebony board.

Not so sure about the wide space to the tailpiece. What kind of headstock does it have?

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

Hot.

Didn't these come out a year or two ago though?

Edit: Derp. I see the differences now.

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

I just wanted to post in here to let you know we are officially in a fight because of this thread's title.

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

I like it. Would certainly give him a different sound of coarse. Notice he sanded the finish off the back of the neck.

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

Oh, did not realize that. It is interesting that it has a locking nut.

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

I like it- basically everything I would want in a Les Paul.

The tailpiece isn't new- it's a Schaller TP-6. In the 80's Kramer put out a very limited edition hardtail guitar that had that tailpiece and Floyd locking nut, but since Kramer was going out of buisness not many were made.

The biggest difference with this and the original Wolgang custom is the locking nut

No whammy bar? That's a shocker!

I'll bet it's a killer guitar.

I like the relic job. At first I was wondering how anyone could wear out a guitar so quickly - even Eddie!

I like my guitars well broken in too.

Re: Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

...does anybody else see the irony of the man who can be blamed for the Superstrat Revolution now basically playing a PRS-shaped Les Paul?

Eddie's new Wolf - Oppa Les Paul Style!

Eddies 5150 studio always had a collection of his signature guitar at the moment, vintage Les Paul's, Flying Vs, etc... No surprise with the Les Paul

I don't think that's not relic'd (at least by the factory) - I'm pretty sure he did it all himself.
